"Academic & Research Excellence", will be participating at the 1st Thessaloniki Science Festival 2015 (http://www.thessalonikisciencefestival.gr/), as a follow up to the successful participation at the Athens Science Festival 2015. The event is organized by the British Council and the educational organization “Science Communication - SciCo”, with the aim of communicating science to the general public. This is a cultural event taking place at the center of Thessaloniki with the support of the City of Thessaloniki, Hellexpo, the Union of Greek Physicists and plenty of teachers from both the public and private sector of the city. The Festival has also got the support of the Greek Ministry of Education and the General Secretariat for Research and Technology and will be taking place at the Pavillion 8 of the Thessaloniki International Fair, at the ‘WE’ Sports & Culture Facility, 3rd September Str. (www.weskg.gr) from the 14th to 17th May 2015.
The participation of ‘Academic & Research Excellence’ at the Festival includes:
- Round table Discussion: The Greek scientific thought excels. Three awrded examples from the areas of Renewable Energy, Planning and Organization of Transport and Information Systems.
