'LEONARDO DA VINCI' MOBILITY PROJECTS ABROAD FOR STUDENTS AND GRADUATES

Students’ mobility in other European countries either for studying in a foreign University or for participating in traineeships abroad, has become an institution for Greek Universities today and takes place by European funding through the program Erasmus+.

Since 2003 the Lifelong Learning Centre (DIKEPPEE) of the University of Ioannina has focused on the internationalization of its activities as well as on the interconnection of the University of Ioannina with the international labor market. It became active in submitting competitive proposals and received European funding of 364.900€ for mobility projects and internships of students and graduates abroad in the framework of the Lifelong Learning - Leonardo Da Vinci - European program.

From 2003 until 2014, DIKEPPEE has coordinated 5 Leonardo Da Vinci mobility projects. For its activity, it has received an award by the State Scholarship Foundation – IKY (Greek National Agency for Leonardo Da Vinci Projects) whereas its programs have been recognized as Good Practices by both IKY and the European Commission.
